Small Groups

We Have a Small Group for You

Our small groups provide opportunites to gain a greater understanding of God’s Word and minister to one another. Our groups include:

Women of the Word-9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.-the second Wednesday of every month.

Koininia-6:00 p.m.-meets the third Sunday of the month.

Men’s Bible study-9:00 a.m.-the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

Growing Together-11:00 a.m.-meets every Sunday.

Dorcas-2:00 p.m.-meets the last Wednesday of every month.

Youth Group – meets every  Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A meal is served at 6:30 p.m. follow by a lesson or activity.

1. What does it say?
2. What does it mean?
3. What does it mean for me?
4. The wonderful purpose of reading Scripture is to have life changed.

First Lutheran Church is blessed to be part of the wonderful community of Oakland, Nebraska. We worship on Saturday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  We have both contemporary and traditional services. Sunday School is held at 10:30 a.m. Our youth meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Confirmation is also held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Vacation Bible School is held in late May every year.  We also have many other ministries and activities throughout the year.  We would love to have you be part of our family of faith.
